Looking for an engaging and creative activity for your child aged 5 -6 years old that doesn’t involve a computer? Look no further! An experienced certified art teacher, Sasha can help your child develop their creative and critical thinking skills through artmaking. She will teach your child the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and sometimes 3-D mixed media while keeping the joy of self-expression in mind. Each class encourages students to explore their creativity while learning about color, value, composition, etc. Students will build on their skills each week to create a landscape, still life, famous artist-inspired composition, traditional crafts, and/or nature art pieces. New topics are introduced in each session, so there’s always something new to learn. And most importantly, it’s all about having fun and expressing yourself through art. The cost is $15 per session.
