Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced felt-maker, this class is perfect for anyone looking to learn or improve their skills. We are happy to welcome artist and educator Sam from Firefire Felt Studio (from the west side of Michigan) to our studio.
During the class, you’ll have the chance to experiment with colors, shapes, and designs while learning about the wool fiber used, proper fiber layout, the rolling and fulling processes, and shaping the final product. The instructor will provide project ideas, but you’re welcome to create as you choose.
Not only is this class a great way to learn a new skill, but it’s also a fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon. And don’t worry about supplies and materials; we’ve got you covered. Just be sure to bring along several hand towels to use during the process.
